Baby Pics

As promised, here is my favorite ultrasound picture. Imagine that you are standing near his feet and, well, looking up his nose from below. The part I find so endearing is the little chubby cheek.

That is really, really adorable. The little mouth, too! I'm sorry to hear that you're still not feeling hot, though relieved to hear they've ruled out HELLP. You're such a fighter. You and the little one.

So glad this is labeled, as I'm generally really bad at making sense of them (though show me an u/s of some ovaries, and I'm all set!). That said, I can totally see the cute cheek and little nose. Aww.

I have an update:

After a couple of yucky days in the hospital with a headache and rising BP, I'm thrilled to announce that Ms. Mudbug delivered the adorable nose pictured above (and all the rest of her beautiful boy) on January 2nd, by c-section. He's a normal healthy size and is currently the cutest and biggest baby in the NICU (he's on a vent for some breathing difficulties). Mudbug is still in the hospital - she's doing fairly well, though she's having a tough c-section recovery. We'll continue to pass along updates as we get them.

Just read Jen's update (http://fertilitynow.typepad.com/fertility_now_/2006/01/bug_baby.html) and I am so glad to hear that the baby is here! Congratulations, Mudbug. Hope your recovery goes well and that you are home with your little fella soon. Big hugs to you. You did a great job.
